Sweet Sweet G :)

As ya know, i've recently woke up, got a stiff neck, became little Ms. Frustration, Ms. Panadol Popper and Ms. Grumpy who kept complaining on how disturbing it was... And i guess Mr. G was the one who was being forced to listen to most of my frustration every day.

So probably because of this, heee.... He decided to maybe let his ears have some peace and brought me to get a new pillow! Haha.... But yeap, i'm touched! After our movie, he just walked to the store and start choosing one - For that moment, i felt G was sweet eh, heee... cos it was never a topic and i was caught by surprise :)

Movie: Drillbit Taylor

my thought: From the guys that brought us Superbad. This show is hilarious and not as silly as expected. I must say the young actors are very good and really helped to spice up the whole movie.

Back to Routine Weekend

Time passes especially fast on weekends, isn't it? Tomorrow it's a start of another new week everyone :)

My weekend is back to routine again, heee... Dinner & movie. Yesterday Mr. G brought me to a place where i love to go especially during my overseas trip. Yeap yeap, we went Outback! Now that i won't really get to travel, hmm... think i could only visit the one in Singapore.

But in the midst of the dinner, Mr. G's not too well..... And ended up, i finished like almost half of his steak! OMG... i think i'm really Ms. Piggy... *Oink Oink*

Movie: IronMan

my thought: I thought it was good, really entertaining. Don't ever consider DVDs cos i'm sure the show is worth paying for the cinema tics.

Trip Confirmed, Hurray!

Yeah! Yesterday, we've settled for our Genting trip and i'll be taking a short break in 2 weeks' time! *Can't wait* :D

As i write this post, sigh... Mr. G is on his way to Dubai again. It's good to have few days break from each other but yet on the other hand, kinda will miss his presence too. Fortunately, his trip this round its only going to be 3 days - just nice, not too long :)

Weekend was like per norm, like what most Singaporeans do! Hee.. Watching movies.

Oh ya! Hee... Guess who i saw after movie on Saturday night? While i was eating my prata at Fong Seng....... A girl popped out and say 'Hi'! Its EO!! And she was there with a guy friend (probably her potential, haha), heading there for supper too :p

Movie: Definitely, Maybe

my thought: Nice! This is an exceptional romantic comedy about the choices we make about love. Nostalgic, warm, bittersweet and entertaining. Beautiful and great cast :)

my review: 8/10

Movie: Three Kingdoms - Resurrection of the Dragon

my thought: War scenes are not as fantastic but the movie moves on real fast. Some history lessons to bring home too. The war/fighting scenes can definitely can be better, maybe. Hee :p
my review: 6/10

Movie: Bucket List

my thought: Be patient, good stuffs are worth waiting for, hee.. Cos the movie gets more & more interesting as it goes. The message of The Bucket List is that we should stop and smell the roses, count our blessings, hug someone we love, before it's too late. More entertaining than I expected.

GV Movie Club

Weekend's been busy for me.. running few places and taking care of Mr.G - He's not feeling too well since he came back from Dubai :(

But still manage to have time for movie! On Saturday night, we went to watch the show JUNO and as you can see the pic below.. he's on 'Drowsy Mode' after some medicine. Oh ya, we also applied for the GV movie club member as usually catch our movies there and surprisingly, its a free membership. Think they just want you to visit them frequently, heee...

How to get the "Popcorn" card? :)

Very simple, just go to GV webbie or click here. After registration, you'll be able to collect your card within the next few days at any GV cineplex. You'll then be entitled for perks like... $1 OFF Combo of the Week, $6.50 Movie Tickets - every Tuesday, Priority Seat Selection etc.

my thought: Not as entertaining as i thought it would be... But overall, the show is pretty lively and engaging.

Basically Sunday was a rest day for us... Just went out for makans and spent our time watching TVB serials again! And not forgetting with the company of my Nachos Cheese Snacks. Heh.. Junkie Me :)

Dubai - There He Goes

I just sent Mr. G off to the airport not too long ago and he will be away for 4 days... Quite a short period, but weird thing.. everytime he goes overseas, kinda will miss him more, heee... Probably that's why people says "Absence Makes The Heart Grow Fonder" :)

So this weekend, we really maximise our time together and went to quite a number of places. Today, we went strolling at Upper Peirce Reservoir and to see the monkeys there! Hee...

my thought: I thought the show is ok only, or average i would say (maybe mood affects the movie too).. But i do have a little difficulty in linking some of their conversations, especially the historical part. Kinda not enough 'excitement' for treasure hunting but some parts of the show is still hilarious.

Just came back from buffet dinner not too long. Though I’m not feeling too well today but I had a good gathering session with the girls. Bascially we were a noisy group, loads of laughter and chatting throughout the dinner :)

Movie Nite - Brother

Just came back from Junction 8 not too long - after the movie, Brother. i will give an average to this movie, though not as boring as i thought it'll be. But i like Miao Qiao Wei, for his age i think his still v.charming eh, heee...

Before movie, we shopped ard Junction 8 & i passed by a shop tat sells this very interesting soft toy! I told Mr. G, "wait, wait... i MUST take tis picture". Quickly take out my cam & snapped a pic.

It says: Beanie Love Cats! & happened tat my colleauge, whom we called her Beanie owns a cat & she LOVES her pet cat like mad, heee - jus find it v.amusing to see e name of e toy (coincidence eh). This Beanie alway says" I own 2 hamtaros (hamsters), 1000 fishes, 1 cat & a 300 dollars bunnie!" heee.... & yeah its true except e fish lah - she is an extreme animal lover :)

Actually wanted to meet EO for supper after movie & pass her some stuff but i guess she got other dates, hee... so we didnt meet up & headed back home straight after movie.

Oh ya, a good news to share, my braces is going to be off in December! Hurray! Hee... been waiting for tis day man. But i think i gonna be more punctual for my last 2 dental appointments cos i overslept in e morning again & it was e 3rd time - think e dental asst gonna knock my head lor, hee.. Fortunately, they are very patient ladies.

On way back in e car.. hee, me jus took take some snaps to tell DMLS - their birthday gift was useful! Like this little coach wrislet because it limits your stuff - can only put a packet of tissue, blotters, camera, HP & its FULL - no more space for wallet *evil thoughts* :)

Movie Time ~ Evan Almighty cum Crispy Chicken

It's been quite some since i went to catch a mid-night show... so decided to go for one: Evan Almighty! Need some laughter to spice up my life cos work has been really tedious recently.. can say i'm drowning.....

Oh ya, i purposely choose to watch this show at Orchard Cineleisure cos i could do some late-night shopping + (most importantly) i wanted to try the Crispy Chicken that Alexis keep promoting to me. Saying it's super uber nice, a 'must try', very deliciousie etc... hee. *Greedie me can't resist food*

So i tried & it's really nice! Which probably might be the leading factor for cathching a movie at Cathay in future as i foresee i will have craving for that! Geee..... Ok, i think i'm a "mountain tortise" cos i've beeng hanging out only at GV cinemas :s

my thoughts on Evan Almighty:
Good! Nice! Funnie~~~! maybe becos i love comedies, hee... if u need to de-stress or want to lighten up ur day, no harm gg for tis movie :)

Mr. G & i were so afraid we might fall asleep during the show - not too use to watching movie at such hour.. but ended up we were fully awake as we enjoyed the moive *GReat!* ;p

881 - Hmmm....

Today's on leave cos tink i need a little break off wrk after soooo many projects & one more nex wk... rather tired actually. Miss shoppin on wkdays too, less crowd :)

Had of lunch first, then we went Queensway Shoppin Centre to get his Oakley sunglass first... then we took a short break for food! Katong Laksa @ Queensway is goooood. Oh ya, i bought e CHEAPEST earrings ever! Less than S$1, only 90 cents - for one pair of earrings which r selling at ard S$3/S$5.

It's almost 3.30pm & time to go off for our movie at GV Grand. We decided to watch 881 instead of Evan Almighty as some friends commented it's quite a nice moive.

my thoughts on 881:
No doubt e glittering stage & fanciful costumes r appealing but it's i felt e story can be much better cos e story seems abit off later. Given a choice, i tink can watch tis show at home rather than at cinema.. Overall, not too bad for local moive but way to go! ;p (also one nice song frm e movie below)

Had a good rest today & yeap, gg to charge up for work tommorrow... :)
