A New Start

Today marks a pretty special day for me... A day where i embark on my new career. Oh ya, same for Evil Jojo and i wish her well too!

I'm glad that all things turn out well today and the new colleauges are nice too. But i do miss my bunch of ex-colleagues (very much in fact).... Last week, they actually gave us a mini farewell and so sweet of them to make the effort preparing and buying goodies & gifts for us. I especially love the handmade card they gave me, very meaningful and I'm sure it'll bring me back lots of memories in years to come :)

Another Busy Week

Today, i was talking to Tissue Lady & friends and mentioned to them that i've been to bbq recently. And her first reaction was, "How come i don't know?" :p *Heh*

Cos usually my blog is kinda 'updated' and they'll know where i've been etc, heee. But yeah, if you noticed that recently my posting seems rather slow cos i've been really busy with work. Just came back and now preparing for another event on Thursday.

There are also some things happening in my work life, like.... Very soon, you probably will see my posting up pics on my last day with my group of nice colleagues. The thought of leaving them is really sad... but then again, progression is equivalently important. Okies, maybe i shall not talk too much about it for now :)

Last Saturday we went to Mr. G's friend birthday celebration at Coasta Sand Resort. Another sweet girl friend, organising a 'surprise birthday' for her love one.

I remember the last time i was there was to attend Cousin Karling's 21st birthday 4 years back! Whoa... long long time ago, heee... So he brought me for a stroll in between the celebration.

Thinking it'll be rather sweet and nice.... ended up....... i stepped on a group of ants!! Urrghh.... I almost got freaked out :(

Happie Happie Birthday

Birthday Celebration @ Wine Company

2 days back, on Tuesday evening was the birthday celebration of Mr. G's friend, David! And his girlfriend, Charmaine planned a birthday surprise for him - gathering all friends to Wine Company without him knowing. Awww... so sweet of her, hee :)

My first time to Wine Company and i think the food and wine there was really great - love the drumlets & pasta. As we sat indoor, it was a little 'noisy' with all the voices reflecting inside the restuarant and we thought we would go back to this place again, but i'll try for the outdoor :)

Charmaine also ordered a cake from The Patissier - Chocolate Cheese. It's very very yummy! Oh man, i'm in love with their cakes. Just a few days ago, Tissue Lady also ordered a cake there for her love one and she too, agress that the cakes was really delicious. Though the cake is like double the normal price (around SGD 70 instead or SGD 30+ per kg) but i think it's really worth it cos its sooooo nice!! *slurps*

SPAM Partie!

Went to the Sports Party Animal Movement last Saturday with Evil Jojo, EO and Meanie. It's quite fun as in not only party, you get to see beauties and hunks, heee... Only then, we realised that the SPAM party was actually a 'Beauty Pageant cum Man Hunt'.

That night was the final, with 10 finalist (5 girls and 5 guys) vying for the champion. Think SSC was trying to promote sports in a different angle - Well, sports can be sexy and fun too :) So the contestants from one of the sports representative will do a 'cat walk' on stage with different themes, like the female golfer will be in bikini holding a club and next round, she will be in her casual attire etc. Besides that, there were performance like pole dancing, models cat walking too:

The SPAM party ends at 11pm and there's where you can hang around to party... And its time for the 4 of us to party! Ah... it's been more than half a year since i last clubbed and my first time partying with Meanie - she is wild!! Hahaha...

Think we all had our fair share of fun that night... And i've learnt something too!

Tried & Tested (twice): If ever EO says "don't feel like partying". Hee, you can take half of her words cos she'll be the one asking you to keep on dancing later.

Proven: I get really tired easily and i think i shall stick to my 2 - 3 times party a year, which will be more than enough, heee ^^

Hmm... It's been like 10 working days since Meanie left us. Kinda miss her craps and her 'loud' voice. Alright, we used to sit at different ends of the office and everytime when she's on the phone.. i could hear her talk, erm... especially her laughter: HA-HAA--HAAA.....

Shopping @ Bugis

Met up with Liting for dinner & shopping yesterday at Bugis. Both of us wanted to go there as we kinda miss Bugis Street, heee... It's getting more and more happening there i felt - as in more shops and stuff.

So we went for our dinner first and started our shopping spree from Bugis Juction then moved on to Bugis Street. Oh ya, M-phosis is doing sales now and the discounts they offer is quite good, from 50% - 70%.. Can pop by to one if happen to pass by.

At Bugis Street, basically i went there to buy falsies, heee... i bought 6 pairs in total yesterday! This shop offers lots of fake eyelashes at great prices and i think i'm really 'addicted' to falsies now, geeezz... :)

Price: SGD 2.90 - 4.90 a pair (Buy 2 pairs & get 1 pair free, so practically you pay around SGD 2 bucks for a pair!)

Yen's Wedding

Yesterday was another busy day. Touched down Sg in the afternoon, immediately had to head home to get prepared for friend's house warming and after which, to attend Yen's wedding.

My flight got delayed again, so by time we rushed down to the house warming session.. most of them have already left. So we didn't stayed there too long & we headed to The Central instead. I miss 'gai gai' with Mr. G, heee.....

Time was really rush, actually i haven't even got myself prepare to the wedding... just rushed out with jeans & a more former top. Since we are at the mall, i was hoping to get a dress if i could find something i like. Geee... i am luckie, last week i bought a last-minute dress for Mel's ROM, a day before... now worse, 2 hours before Yen's wedding, heee... *Oh ya, thankie Mr. G for buying the dresses! ^^
