Singapore calling to Dubai

Yesterday night around 2am, I tried calling Mr. G to his hotel room cause we will always buy calling card to call each other if e other one is travelling.

So thinking with my Phoenix Card with left over credit of 5 bucks can last me 30 mins or so... But who knows!? It says: "You have 9 Minutes!!" - Whoa... i never expect it cost so much to call to Dubai from Sg, cos i remember calling him during his Norway trip- with 5 bucks credit, you can talk for around 20 mins!

No choice, we have to use Skype instead... Hee, while we are talking, Mr. G sent me some of his pics taken at Dubai airport & his room. As i am using my lappie's mic, it wasn't clear and was quite noisy. So now i gotta set off to get a mic for skype & Mr. G says we could probably get a webcam when he's back, heeeee ^^

Just put down the phone with Mr. G & he'll be boarding the plane to Dubai v.soon... I'm okie that he travel cos its only a few days but sigh..... so fast i start missing him le. Now i kinda regret that i never insist in sending him to the airport although he said it's troublesome for me to go home alone :(

Today's Friday, heee... so it's time to lunch-out! Usually we would jus pack back office because e crowd in Shenton Way is terrible.. u simply can't get a seat unless u're early or later. Okie i admit i don't really know how to dispense the hot water properly ~ so SH must take a pic to prove this! Heee... But but, it's hot water - i hurt my fingers too :(

Recently we're kinda Starbuck-in prettie often.. so all of us grabbed a cuppa after our lunch. Well, hee.. me as usual: "A cuppa Iced Mocha please" ^^

to Geylang for Dinner

i'm not so moody now cos Mr. G's gastric is kinda getting much better le. Thgh he didn't go to work today & rested at home, but still he has to go for his tuition - Responsible teacher wor, hee heee. Since he's feeling better we decided to eat out & he picked me up from work.

Of cos of cos.... no oily food nor fried stuff, so we decided to eat porridge ~ yeah! to Geylang for Frog Porridge (砂锅活田鸡粥) - Yummies! ^^ But one thing at Geylang is that parking is difficult so only manged to find a parking lot after turning a few rounds thgh e spot is not very ideal cos it's just right infront of Hotel 81 & there are many 'girls' standing around there. So me decided to put on cardigan, hahahha... cos my skirt today's abit short eh.

Something fun about geylang is that first, there's quite alot of nice food there & you can also see a group of different people (oh ya, we saw aunties singing Karaoke at open Kopi-tiam) & 'interesting couples' - those old uncles & young china girls holding hands, heeee....

After dinner, we just headed back home to rent our TVB serial & rest. Oh ya, hee.. on our way back, we passed by a coffee shop where there's a stall selling Crocodile Bak Kut Teh, so interesting, heee.. so i took a picture of it! ;p

Mr. G is Down...

Sigh... Mr. G was v. ill last night. He's gastric was soooo bad that he vomitted at least 5 times within 2 hrs. I asked him to go see a doctor but he insisted not to.

Only till around 12.30am, he vomitted again which this time I insist that he needs to go hospital immediately. Seeing him in such pain is terrible & i can't do much too, except to take care & help him along :( Luckily, AH's A&E don't have much people, so could say when we stepped in, within 5 mins a doctor attended to him - & he has to go to the outpaitent ward.

I was v.worried cos i've never seen him vomitting sooo many times in a row *sad sad*.. so i jus gotta wait for him to get better before leaving. While waiting i jus slept at e waiting area sofa.

Praying he will recover soon before he leaves for Dubai this Saturday......

Relaxing Sunday

Slept till 12plus today cos yesterday went to watch midnight movie, Superbad with Mr. G. The show is darn funnie eh but lots of F-word used, heee.... but i like! wahhaha

Today, basically a super slag day for me. Woke up ate my lunch, watch our TVB dvds, take naps & hee, went out. First, went to Tiong Bahru Plaza cos gotta go NTUC.. then take a little rest at Yakun for tea. Then went to Chinatown, take a little stroll.. visited e new temple opposite Maxwell Market - very nice inside & super comfy, its air-conditioned, hee... Then headed for our dinner & went KTV! :)

Fancl's Promotion

Fancl is having a promotion for their Mild Cleansing Oil & jus nice i would need to get them! Wanted to ask Auntie May to help me get 2~3 bottles, cos its' her birthday month & i thght she would have 20% off.. but now Fancl has changed their policy to only 7% off during your birthday month.

Quite a big diff eh, but still i needa stock up le :)

Reaching Sg in Threee Hours

I'm now at KLIA, gonna wait for another 2 hrs for my flight.... Feeling v.tired now after a loooong day. And by time i touch down Sg, its gonna be close to mid night.... sigh... don't wanna tink abt it..

Jus finish our dinner actually, hee... so Beanie & me are blogging at KFC, cant' wait to go home... miss our bed!! OH ya, we've got a new blogger born today, heee... She's Beanie & i tell ya, her blog is really abt beans lor... i Tink she really got overdosed by beans! We didnt as much pics as yesterday (total of 101 photos taken) hee... but did take some at the hotel lobby while waiting for the cab to pick us up. Happened to see Laurie Young, e speaker, who is also heading to e airport.. so we took a picture with him before he flys back to London! Oh ya, he is also currently working on his fourth book, From Products To Services, which will be published in 2008 :)
