Today i received a sms from Sha Sha... she said "hey... where's the ice cream pix? aiyo... u not as efficient as b4 liao la" Hmmm.... cos we went Ben & Jerry last week to celebrate PJ's birthday, took some pics with my camera; which i used to send them the photos almost immediately that day or not, the next. But this time.... *oops!* i haven't even look at the pics myself till now.

Been busy planning for my HK trip, checking accommodation rates - cos apparently i planned to stay at 3 different area, so gonna search for 3 different hotels for our trip :D Plus researching on Macau cos it's gonna be our first trip there. Not forgetting my driving lessons. Yeah...!!! i've passed my final theory and i need to quickly finish the course so i can go for my test. Again, BBDC business is extremely good. It's so tough to book on to weekends! And well, i kinda have to everyday log in to the homepage at least twice to check if someone had let go their slots... :S

Passed - Yeappie!

Yeappies.. finally i passed my 'evaluation' after 2 tries. The Q&A book really helps! :) Ah.. but still, most importantly i need to pass the Final Theory in 2 weeks' time, so i'll just continue to read that book.

Oh ya, my very very first trial on Saturday, driving beyond the circuit-outside the school! Scary.. but i guess i'm lov'in it!! Seriously, i look forward to my next lesson and if time allows, i am hoping to arrange more than one lesson a week. That means i have to spend both my weekend at BBDC?? Hmm.... shall think about it ... :D

Friday was my company's corporate day. I thought the whole day event was really good; it was meaningful, motivational, yet fun and exciting. Hmm... how should i say... a very good mix of all activities? :) We started off with some fun exercise, then to MD presentation, to some kiddish clap & sing-along song, follow by witty team building sessions... proceeding on to sexy salsa dance class and not forgetting, drinking session with the team :)

So Sunday was my R & R day. Decided to pop by Mr. G's sista's place to visit his nephews and niece - cos we had missed her birthday 3 weeks back.

Its a MCQ Week

Today, i received a call from the driving school-BBDC.... You know what, it was a kinda follow-up/reminder call saying: "Hey Xerene, we noticed that you have booked on the Final Theory Test in first week of April and are you aware that you need to pass your 'Evaluation' 2 weeks prior to the test?" Heee.. i was surprise that do such 'customer service' calls but its good, cos at least they make an effort to remind you.

It was my second FAIL for the school's evaluation test last Sunday and my lastest date to pass this is by next Tuesday!! So this Saturday's evaluation test is a 'die-die also must pass'! Thinking back, rather regret why i didn't listen to Mr. G.. i should have gotten the MCQ revision book since i don't have time to go down for a practice session. Now = 2 fails + waste time + naggings/teachings *_* (but i know you meant well my dear, heeeee :D)

So i've finally got my Q&A book yesterday! Been reading on it :)

Oh ya, i attended 2 practical lessons till date and so far so fun, heee... It's kinda interesting coordinating the clutch, changing gears, braking etc.. Except that i seem to have a problem controlling my steering wheels. Just weird, either over-steered or under-steered, ah.. need more more practice..!

Hmm... or i shouldn't say it so early? Cos Mr. G was telling me.... "Fun?! Wait till you drive out to the main road, changing of lanes and so forth..." Oooops! Picturing that scenario now seems far from fun. Anyway, shan't think about it first whilst i still have the interest going on. Looking forward to my 3rd lesson this Saturday! Till then.. :)

My Very First Step

Yeap! Finally finally i had enrolled myself to the driving school (after 9 years of passing my theory tests, which of cos the 'final theory' had already expired long long time ago)! And of cos after much 'pushing' from my dear Mr. G :)

Suddenly it makes me wonder, why-oh-why am i procrastinating?? Heee.. Anyway i'm really glad i've made the first step! Today i went for my FIRST lesson at BBDC!! Although its just attending the theory lesson but still, i felt happy and excited (can't imagine if it's the 'actual' / practical lesson, geeezz).

Decided to take up the class 3c despite knowing the fact that it's not easy to control a manual car - coordinating clutch, gear, accelerator etc etc.. but i wanna give it a shot. At least i tried and understand how it 'feels' like operating a manual car. Of course, i really really hope that there's no need for me to change to the 'auto' lessons later on... Gonna give myself 5 lessons, so wish me luck :D

Had a v.v.bad pre-V.day with G... fortunately, flowers linked us back to 'talking mode' again :)

Today is the 9th day of CNY... so i'm still not too late to wish ya all a Happie Chinese New Year! :)

I hope it is a great new year for everyone but sigh... it didn't start off quite well for me. Been pretty sick these 2 weeks, with all sorts of virus surrounding me. Bad soar throat before new year.. then to fever, then to flu... and now back to soar throat. And of cos, i miss ALL the new year goodies! With the bad soar throat, you simply don't feel like eating anything... in fact, quite frustrating :(

Really hope my soar throat can recover by next week.... Anyhow, it's photo time again, heee.... my reunion lunch and visitings with Mr. G and family.

This year i missed out quite a fair bit with my family. No reunion dinner with my family cos it falls on the same day with Beanie's ROM & no visitings cos most of my relatives went back to Hainan Island. Still, i hope they had a fun time there.. Did ya?? Cousin Liang and Cousin Pang :)

Busy Weekends

These few weeks i've been busy with Chinese New Year preparations. From baking cookies, to buying CNY goodies, hair-do and getting a gift for Beanie's ROM. Hee.. so haven't got much time to update bloggie.

This is tiring, especially preparing the pineapple fillings, but i love baking these tarts! I told Mr. G, having a bulit-in oven in our future home is definite! Heee... baking is fun, isn't it? :)

Last weekend we met up again, this time we were heading to buy CNY goodies which took us half a day to queue for the Ba Kwa! *Tedious* Seriously we really didn't expect that it would take soooo long and we couldn't bear to give up half way... so well, ended up queuing for 4 hours!! *_*

Finally this is the day! Beanie's big day... and she has now promoted to Mrs. Yeo, hee :) Another ideal ROM ceremony i would say. Lovely couple, romantic setting, nice ambience, lovely music ('live' pianist & violinist). I love the "special performance" most, heee... Beanie gave Ben a surprise by singing him a song. Ok i didn't realise that 'beans' can sing too! :D

Happy Happy New Year! 2008 seems to past really fast eh. Looking back, i have not completed my '08 resolution. Oooops, or in fact, i haven't even started, heee.... My driving license!!! Haizz... Mr. G hopes i can get my license soon so he can rest at times. His favorite phrase, "Driving is very tiring, you know?" Heee.... And he tempts me with beemer's 2nd key! :D Alright Dearie, i will get myself enlisted to the driving school soon ok? *Bleh*

'08 Christmas and New Year's eve was pretty quiet, no parties, no count down outings... We spent these 2 days having dinnner and movie with friends. On New Year's day, also Mr. G's nephew's birthday, we went to his sis place for celebration. Oh ya, there's also magic show for the kids! Aren't you lucky kids? :)

Supposingly to meet EO, Ina and Hui Hui too.. but Hui was sick and EO can't make it the last minute... she was not feeling well too! So sad. Anyway, i'm really happy for Evil Jojo cos she got her "ROCK", yeah!! *It's gorgeous*

The Perfect Phone

Yeappie!! Finally after a long search for good camera SE phone, i've got it now in my hands!! :D

Happie me :) This 8.1 megapixel camera phone works just like it has been advertised - Perfect for pictures anytime! The cam spec includes face detection, image stabilizer, 7 scene selection, smart contract etc etc. Hahaha... most importantly it doesn't come with "extreme bright flash"! Hee.. If you ever read my post in January, i bought the SE W960i, which then i thought was my 'perfect phone', fell in love with it, ignoring some negative comments from forums and went ahead to get it... ended up i was so disappointed with it's flash! Alright, might sound abit drama but i did kinda made a hoo-haa about it at that time *ooops!*

Back to C905, this phone's camera functions can definitely be on par with digital camera. Oh ya, it comes WiFi and GPS too! If you ask me what the cons of this phone, i would say the 3G fuction & size? The phone doesn't comes with a front camera though it supports 3G calls. Meaning if you make a video call, you can only use the back camera and the other party can see you BUT you cannot see the screen *super weird right* Next is the size; not really slim nor compact, but for the amount of features you get, i'm pretty sure you can accomodate this area. Fortunately i rarely do video calls so i just have to make do with it. But again, it really puzzled me why the phone was designed in this way for 3G calls, doesn't make sense eh? *_*

I have left my canon cam at home since Friday to try out this new phone, heee.. Check out the pics taken by C905 below :)

This week, i also managed to get my Hula Hoop!! Found it at Toy "R" Us. I seriously need to shed some fats. Can you believe i put on 3 kg in less than 3 months?! Even my mama noticed it and asked if i did put on weight when i saw her sometime back last week.

*Xerene seriously need to start exercising* i wanna put on my jeans again... very soon i hope :)
