Yippies! We finally are confirming A Little Dream (http://alittledream02.livejournal.com/) as our wedding music band :D
Met up with the band last weekend and i guess Mr. G was very pleased. Initially we wanted to save some money, thought of just playing CDs but then again, it seems really too much work to get each and every single song track to be licensed. The hassle of going through to register with 3 different channels just seem too much work; we really have got no time. In any case the trade off is good, heee..
Now.. i can go back and concentrate on my montage and confirming my song list. Any nice songs you can think of suitable for weddings? Please let me know! :)

Home Collections
I'm quite excited every now and then when i see departmental stores going on sale, heee... Love popping by Takashimaya and Tangs to shop for home stuffs and these few weeks pretty i'm happy with our buys :)
Got my WMF pots - don't know whey but i love WMF stuffs. i think they have good quality cooking pots and pans. *Thanks to PC babes for contributing to my WMF collections!*
We're heading down to DiGio in a couple of hours to select our photos... Arrh.. Mixed feelings. On one hand, i hope the photos are nicely taken but on the other, Mr. G and i had an agreement not taking any additional pictures. Haizz... i hope we can do that? *keeping my fingers crossed*

2nd Photoshoot - In SG
Another photoshoot? Hee hee... Yes yes; we have taken up two bridal pacakges. But seriously, not on purpose - believe me :)
It was in fact quite a hassle to go through the procedure again but after the shooting last Friday with DiGio, i kinda changed my mind! I felt really quite different taking pre-wedding shoots in Taiwan and Singapore. Both expereiences are great (with both the nice teams) but if you were to ask me which i prefer, i guess i could only tell you this when we've got the actual albums.
Heh... here's the preview of my MTM wedding gown. i love it to bits.. :) Thanks to Jeslyn from DiGio, she is a fantasic designer and of course, a very nice and patient lady.
Miki - my MUA :)
New Template
It did crossed my mind that if i should stop blogging? Having Facebook being so interactive, linked to iPhones etc... you can simply post updates and photos anytime, anywhere. But on the other hand, i can't bear to close my bloggie, since it has been with me for near three years.
5 minutes backed, i decided to discard the idea. As i logged into blogger.com today, i noticed that they have some new updates! :) As you noticed i have changed my blog template and, at ease. So much flexible as compared to last time where i had a hard time trying to find templates i like or trying to work out the html languages to customized my template. Now i can change my background, customise fonts, layouts and colours with just a few clicks! Well, with the introduction of 'Template Designer', it really helps to revive my interest back to blogging and i could change my template easily everytime i get "bored" over the blog skin. For now, i have chosen a 'celebration' themed background which matches with my wedding prep *Geeez*
So yes, you'll be expecting more updates coming along :)

Taiwan Pre-Wedding Photo Shoot
Today's my first home alone day (at our new house) as Mr. G is away... fortunately for only three days. Met PC babes (ex, heee) for dinner as we started talking about pests at home. My only fear is cockroaches and i absolutely HATE them!! And yes, so so afriad of it.
It's so funny sharing on my weird thoughts on 'killing' cockroaches like using plastic containers (with a small little hole at the top - so i can spray Baygon in it) to trap them first, and they will soon be suffocated by Bygon!! *Hurrays!* But question; how can i cover them with the container as i'm soooo afriad of them, needed to say getting near them. Next possibility - i can use Bygon spray (those with a tube) but still, i find them too short and where can i get an extension of the tubes of at least a meter? It's crazy thoughts but they did cross my mind before, haha... Well, i know i eventually have to learn to overcome this fear.. sigh..
Ok, enough of these yuckkies stuff. Back to happy moments and i must say that i LOVE my Taiwan trip :) Enjoyed ourselves very much at Taipei, had a great time and we love our photos! Hee... I would highly recommend pre-wedding photoshoot in Taiwan as their sceaneries are geogeous and the whole team from Lishe Bridal were so professional and fun people to work with :D Weather's great too! And honestly no regrets :D
We signed up with Lishe (http://www.lishe.com.tw/) at their roadshow held in Vivo Singapore last year. In fact, we were not very sure of how it will work out (we haven't even heard of them before) but all in all, the whole experience and photo shooting exceed our expectations.
Out of our 7 days in Taipei, we only have about 3 days to tour around as the other 3 was spent over gown selection, photo shoot and photo selection. So we're still left with lots of other places to visit.. hopefully we can go there again sometime next year? :) Meanwhile, it's photo time! Picture speaks a thousand words, don't they? And i'll post up the actual pics when they send the soft copy to us next month :)
First stop when we touched down, we went to watch 'Zong Yi Da Ge Da'
This place is nice eh?? :)
Look at my crocs shoe, hee hee

We have Moved!
Yeah... finally we have shifted to our little love nest, heee :)
Last Saturday, we have officially moved in and time seems to pass sooooo fast these few days. After work it's all about unpacking, cleaning, shopping for household stuffs, sorting out deliveries, arranging for set ups and all. While having a little break for myself today (no housework to be done), i shall do some updates :) Have neglected my bloggie *_*
More or less our home is complete except for our dinning table. Sigh, talking about that... really dislike the shop (La Cafa at Furniture Mall). And please for those who are shopping for home furnitures, as i mentioned in my earlier post.. please do read forums before buying. This shop send us wrong items, wrong sizes, wrong colour, unbalance and dented table... Haizz... Wasting our time calling, coordinating, rushing home etc.
Now i'm kinda having a mixed feeling about my Taipei trip next Tuesday. Whilst looking forward to the trip, i'm not so excited about the packing part which i have to do it over weekend. Oh ya, i just called the tv station to book seats for the recording of "Zhong Yi Da Ge Da" (綜藝大哥大)! Still trying to finalise my itinerary and well... till then... I shall turn in early tonight! Nitey :)

What's Next?
There are so much happenings these few months, so much things to blog actually. We've been busy building our little love nest... hopefully we can move in by end March? Sourcing for furnitures, contractors and other home furnishing was never too easy... In between we had some bad experiences but well, as least lessons learnt. I still ponder why some furniture retailers are so dodgy *_* So before you buy anything, i would higly recommend you to do some research over internet and read through forums like renotalk etc
Next, was wedding preparations. It's time we need to confirm our actual day PG, Photographer and we've been looking around since Dec last year. I posted at forum and the response were soooo good, many sent in their quotations for consideration.. and i really can't decide. Met up with a few before meeting up with Yong How from 1950 photography, he is a pretty nice chap. Mr. G like his work and was very comfortable with him. And yeap, there we have our PG confirmed! *Okie, one more item less from to-do-list* As for VG, we confirmed our videographer much earlier as i've had in mind to engage Christopher Tay from Ichiro after viewing his work at Jamie's wedding; one of the best video work i've seen so far. With this combi, i really hope our actual day memoirs can be captured beautifully, heee...
Coming up in 3 weeks time will be our overseas photoshoot in Taiwan! :) Very much looking forward to the photoshoot cum holiday trip. Hope the weather's gonna be fine!

First Post of the Year ~ HK Trip
Oops.. I've stopped blogging for a while. Honestly, with such convenient online platforms like facebook, which is almost like your daily blog, sometimes you just feel 'lazy' to write on blogs. So this post, you'll be expecting a loooong one, hee :D
Last week, straight after Auntie Maybel's full day wedding event, we went for a short trip to Hong Kong. Though not as exciting as the last one (Mr. G's first trip to HK), it was still definitely a good short break from daily routine. It was our first time visiting New Territories area and we spent a night at my cousin's place. Indeed, Hong Kong apartments are really tiny... and i kinda felt we were quite fortunate to have considerably spacious flats here.
The only touristy place we went this time was Lantau Island. I must say the island hasn't got much attractions except the Big Buddha statue. However, there were a number of constructions going on which i guessed the island would definitely add more interesting places of interest in the near future. Of all, i love the crystal cable cabin! And ya, if you planned to take the crystal cabin, you can actually skip the queue! Obviously we didn't know and starting queuing when we arrived... Luckily, we realised it after 5 mins and of cos, headed straight to the counter.
About this trip: We aimed not to do too much shopping and well... we kinda of did it or should i say 'he' kind of did it, haha... I was there mainly to stock up my beauty products (my classic oil blotters!) plus foodie sessions. But then... as we popped by outlets... i fell in love with some clothes which i thought if i don't buy, i might not get them again in Sg..... So... heee, ya know eh? :)
Then as we walked pass shopping malls, we see some random sales going on... Comtemplating if i should buy a bag for myself, hmms... thinking once, thinking twice... Mr. G grabs it for me, haha.. *Thank u dearie*
Oh ya, i'm surprised i took only 200 odd pics for this 4D 3N's trip, heee... Well, my norm is taking like a hundred a day! It's an "achievement", isn't it? Hee hee...
Anyway, here are some of the 200+ photos we took :)
